P25 Standard VS P25 single channel trunking. Can the Uniden BC796D trunktracker IV scanner function properly under single channel P25 trunking? This scanner can pick up the P25 digital frequencies very well. Lately, the squelch cannot overcome the digita P25 because they may have recently changed from standard P25 to single channel P25 trunking. The PSR500 is listed as a scanner that is unable to work properly with P25 single channel. I need to know does the BC796D have the same issue.
